So What exactly is the Lotto Black Book?
The lotto Black Book is a very complete manual on picking winning lottery numbers. The book was written by Larry Blair, a math professor from Oklahoma. After winning 3 large prizes from the lottery all within a few weeks of each win, Larry was the victim of an attempted abduction and ended up getting shot in the leg by two crooks who were demanding that he give up his method of picking winning lotto numbers.
So What Does the Lotto Black Book Contain?
Larry’s 64 page Lottery manual book does more than just providing calculations for picking lotto numbers, but also includes several theories as to how numbers actually behave in a lottery drawing.
The e book uses terms like “hanging ghost” and” announcer” to describe different number behaviors, luckily there is also a glossary of definitions to guide you though. You do not have to be a math genius to understand and apply the techniques Larry shows however. You may need to read though a concept one or two times but it is very understandable.
According to mathematicians, each number has an equal chance of being drawn in a game. In actual practice that is not the case. Whether the numbers are drawn by a computer or ping pong balls falling out of a cage, some numbers will always show up more than others. Each game has it’s own numbers which show up with greater frequency (hot numbers) as well as numbers that appear less often (cold). It varies from game to game which ones are “hot” and which are “cold” but there will always be some numbers that “outperform” others.
This idea of number frequency is actually the basis of many lotto systems. Unfortunately Picking a winning lotto draw involves much more than simply picking the numbers that consistently show up the most. It is the winning combinations of numbers that are a real player’s goal. Along with high frequency or “hot numbers” a winning combination will include “cold numbers and numbers in between. The Lotto Black Book covers all of these concepts in detail. If you really want to there is even enough information to design your own lottery system.
There is a lot of information to digest and Larry gives strategies for most numbered games.
Larry covers Pick 3 games quite thoroughly with enough information for you to become an expert in pick 3 games. If a person were to really study the information in this part of the book, they would become the person everyone goes to for their 3 numbers. I know many people shun pick 3 games because the prizes are much smaller than the larger numbered games. You have to realize though that the odds of winning in a pick 3 game are much better than the games with higher number pools.

The Lotto Black Book also covers pick 4 games. It does not go into as much detail as the pick 3 section, but there is enough material there to get you started.
The sections that cover the higher numbered games is quite complete and includes many suggestions on picking winning number combinations. In addition, Larry even has included a section titled” How I Play”. It is important not to get overwhelmed by all of the information provided in this very comprehensive manual. Larry advises not to try and apply every concept at once but to instead try one technique for awhile and then add more as you go.
Most lottery systems work with wheeling systems and Larry covers wheeling quite thoroughly. It is very clear that Larry has spent a lot of time studying lotteries as he has included a section on the different types of games and their design.
What did I not like
The only thing I didn’t care for in the Lotto Black Book is that it is not always organized the way I would have put it together. Larry tends to jump around in some parts. As a whole, the book is organiazed decently, but there are a couple of sections that I would have organized differently.

This book contains a massive amount of information on lottery number behavior and has made me think about numbers in ways I have not before. I can’t imagine how he could have made it more complete. For the person who wants to become an expert in picking winning lottery number combinations, the lottery
Black Book will be your textbook.
Overall, what do I think?
Larry Blair’s Lottery Black Book is the most complete manual on techniques for picking winning number lottery number combinations that I have come across. It goes much further than providing calculations for predicting tonight’s winning lotto draws although you will definitely be able to do that.
I think the type of person who would get the most out of this book is someone who is fairly analytical and prefers be more active in their game and not satisfied with just using the same numbers every time they play. The Lotto Black Book does require some time to absorb the information that applies to your game. For the person wants to be the expert that people look to when it comes to picking lottery numbers, then this is the lottery system for you.
The Lotto Black Book was really written for someone who ultimately wants to design their own lottery system. If this does not appeal to you and you are the type of person that does not want to mess around with all of those numbers but still wants a real and legitimate lottery system instead of just wasting money on buying quick picks, then I would recommend The Silver Lotto System.
